Workflow Automation for Hospitality Operations

Reservations, email, invoicing, daily room plans and internal notes are often distributed across different tools. Arrivals and departures continuously change that information and make clear handoffs essential for the team.

Plant Room organises those relationships into one coherent operational system: information enters, is processed, confirmed and turned into outputs for daily use instead of remaining as isolated automation steps.

The project addresses workflow architecture, data structure, operational interface and human judgement, so back-end complexity is not transferred directly to the people using the system.

System Overview

Plant Room connects structured input, automation logic, human confirmation and operational output into an understandable system for daily operations.

02

Process Transformation

Starting with the real operational context, the project reorganises tasks distributed across tools and manual steps into clearer information flow, context and handoffs.

03

Automation Workflows

Invoice handling and guest communication each manage different inputs, transforming them into operational information through clear rules, status and exception boundaries.

04

Operational Data Flow

After normalisation and status logic, reservation data becomes a daily room plan, structured operational data and output the team can use.

05

Human-in-the-loop

The system takes on repetitive, rule-based work while review, exceptions and consequential decisions remain with people.

06

Integrated Operating Model

Reservations, communication, data preparation, automation and interface work are handled by the tools that suit them, then connected through one continuous operational workflow.

Closing reflection

From a collection of tools to a coordinated operating system

Plant Room does not replace existing tools with one application. It connects the essential parts of everyday hospitality operations through clearer information structure, automation logic and human judgement, creating a system that can continue to be adjusted over time.
