PROJECT 03WORKFLOW & AUTOMATION
LIS StoreAI-Assisted Commerce Operating System
A modular commerce operating system connecting product information, catalogue structure, inventory, orders, fulfilment, content operations, AI-assisted task coordination and human review.
The project explores how the operational complexity behind an independent online store can be translated into a structured workflow architecture that remains understandable, modular and controllable.
SYSTEM OVERVIEW
The storefront is only the visible layer of the system. Behind it, product information, inventory, orders, fulfilment and content operations are connected to AI-supported coordination and human review.

MODULAR ARCHITECTURE
The operating model is divided into three functional layers: commerce foundation, operational flow, and coordination & governance. This modular structure allows individual functions to evolve without rebuilding the entire system.

COMMERCE WORKFLOW
Core commercial processes move from product information through catalogue structure, inventory, order intake and fulfilment to content operations. Operational feedback continuously informs earlier stages of the system.

AI TASK COORDINATION
Operational signals are consolidated into a coordination layer where AI can help structure tasks, generate draft content, surface exceptions and suggest actions without replacing business ownership.

HUMAN REVIEW & CONTROL
Critical actions remain reviewable. Human approval, revision and rejection keep commercial judgement, quality and direction under explicit control while AI remains an assistive layer.

INTEGRATED OPERATING MODEL
The final system combines system thinking, workflow design, AI collaboration and human governance into one connected commerce operating model.
